I just bought a G. Weike LC1390N 150 watt laser configured to run on 220 volts. Everything arrived in good condition. After getting everything set up and ready. I started up the machine. Everything looked normal. Lights came on, the head moved and all looked well. I pushed the green button for the blower (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/13/0/19/DealFrame/DealFrame.cmp?bm=204&BEFID=96291&acode=226&code=226&aon=&crawler_id=496219&dealId=SnqLkslBxAKLPTf_StOTiQ%3D%3D&searchID=&url=http%3A%2F%2Ftracking.searchmarketing.com%2Fcl ick.asp%3Faid%3D230005750000063335&DealName=Mr.%20Heater%20MHR-F276127%20F276127%206-Volt%2F800mA%20AC%20Adapter%20for%20Big%20Buddy%20 Built%20In%20Blower&MerchantID=496219&HasLink=yes&category=0&AR=-1&NG=1&GR=1&ND=1&PN=1&RR=-1&ST=&MN=msnFeed&FPT=SDCF&NDS=1&NMS=1&NDP=1&MRS=&PD=77646216&brnId=2455&lnkId=8070676&Issdt=170528050532&IsFtr=0&IsSmart=0&dlprc=13.87&SKU=MHR-F276127) and 3 seconds later, the machine went dead. I can only assume that I had the chiller, air assist and exhaust fan (http://www.amazon.com/gp/search?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&index=garden&keywords=exhaust%2Bfan&linkCode=ur2) in the wrong plugs on the back. When I pressed the green button I (http://rd.bizrate.com/rd?t=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fdp%2FB00RV9C1Z0 %2Fref%3Dasc_df_B00RV9C1Z04996821%3Fsmid%3DATVPDKI KX0DER%26tag%3Dshopzilla0d-20%26ascsubtag%3Dshopzilla_rev_266-20%3BSZ_REDIRECT_ID%26linkCode%3Ddf0%26creative%3D 395093%26creativeASIN%3DB00RV9C1Z0&mid=184056&cat_id=25000700&atom=10703&prod_id=&oid=7048885248&pos=1&b_id=18&bid_type=4&bamt=8086a9d9f3c0e3ef&cobrand=1&ppr=5e74ffbc76e30510&rf=af1&af_assettype_id=12&af_creative_id=2973&af_id=615103&af_placement_id=1&dv=4fee4e6475a2fb334dfc0ef953c1c4ec) could hear the exhaust fan (http://www.amazon.com/gp/search?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&index=garden&keywords=exhaust%2Bfan&linkCode=ur2) start to wind up and that is when everything stopped. So I need to find out what failed and I need to find out the correct plugs in which to plug in the accessories.(They are not labeled). Can anyone help please? http://www.cnczone.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gifhttp://www.cnczone.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif

Sounds like you blew a fuse. There should be one in the plug socket on the laser. Be sure to unplug and let the caps discharge, before attempting service.

I would not plug anything into the outlets on the back of the laser.

Fantastic!!!!! Thank you Matt. This was correct and worked. I did not see the fuse initially. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Matt is totally correct! I really wish the chinese manufacturers would stop putting crap electrical outlets on the back of the laser! I use mine to power one 4watt led light string inside the bed. That is all! Plug your blower, exhaust and chiller into outlets that are separate from your laser! zero reason to use poor outlets!

Hi Jay,
I too have an LC1390N (80 watt) that completely lost power-
the in machine gfci circuit switch- or the "master switch of power supply" in the back of the machine immediately flips it off when plugged in.
I am wondering if that is what yours was doing? as there is a fuse right next to there?
just checking - where was the fuse you replaced?
or was it a fuse inside of the power supply?

trying to narrow down my problem- worried it is a short somewhere in the machine - thanks
Sonja
