Hi,
I bought this hand drill yesterday for three bucks. It was stiff turning, but a bit of 3in1 in the right spots sorted it out. It works well. Tested it using a 3/32" bit in maple.
But I don't know what I have. I believe it is vintage; it looks like it is made well. There's a bit of play in the fit of the gears, but it doesn't seem to affect function. I may try a small washer either under the screw that bolts the large gear to the frame, or under that gear itself, and see if I can take up a bit of that slack.
My question is, does anyone here recognize this make, and can anyone tell me anything about it? It works quite well, so it really doesn't matter, but I would like to know if I could.
