We've all seen various optical illusions over the years. They try to prove to us that what we see and reality are not always the same. This one takes the cake as cool. I understand the science behind it, to a point. The neatest optical trick I've seen.

Although they don't indicate it, the effect works best if you try not to blink for a few seconds while you stare at the x. Also, hold your head and eyes still.
