Hi Folks-

Seeking Owners Manual or insructions for my very old (1979) C'man "Dovetail Template"--(really a dovetail jig with 1/2" and 1/4" templates).

Model #315 25710 8727

Main question: What are the locating pins/holes for? Labeled A, B and C?

I have used it with pretty good results, but have never attempted to move the pins.

Bill, I have one of those jigs. It took me a while to unearth the instructions.
The stop pins marked A are used with the 1/2" template, and make sides flush with the front. The stop pins marked B make rabbetted drawers, where the sides are 3/8" inset from the edges of the front. The stop pins marked C are used with the 1/4" template.

Gee, I got one of those as a gift about that time, and unfortunately, when I finally opened the box to use it about a year later, there were "NO" instructions in the box. I've still got it sitting on a shelf, and it's still a virgin since I had no instructions, (and "The Creek" wasn't around then).:(
