Help with memorial plaque picture

Hey All, I'm looking for some help making a memorial plaque for my grandfathers funeral. I plan to make it out of an alder plaque from JDS. My problem is I would like to laser his picture on the plaque. I have followed corel videos and every youtube video and I can't get a good result. This is just a few for family so not worth it to invest in photograv right now. If anyone can help me I can share the picture with you. Thanks in advance wise ones.

search the Gold Method will give pretty good instructions for photos also look for free dithering software that might help also. I think there are some free trials for photgrav also for download.

Thanks Bert. I don't know why I hadn't come across this Golden Method yet. I will try it this weekend. I have not seen any free trials of photograv.
