I have a Rotex 90. Yesterday I went to open a new box of 80 grit Granat that I thought was for that sander but when I opened the box I realized that the discs were noticeably smaller. I looked on the box and saw they were 70mm instead of the 90mm I ordered. I couldn't find any Festool sanders that took a 70mm disc. Did they ever make that size?

That's paper for the RAS sander. Now holes right.

The RAS is 115 mm. I'm not sure what the 70mm would be for. I know the polishing pad for the RO90 is 70mm, but Granat in 70mm? Weird. Can you post a pic of the box Julie?

Ah mystery solved. It's for the LEX 3 77 (one of their pneumatic sanders). Thank you Festool catalog.

Eureka! Thanks, Victor. But I didn't see any 77mm sandpaper on that website... (my mistake in the title and first post, it was 77mm not 70mm - don't know where I got 70. Must be old timer's disease.)

Now I'll have to see if I can return it for the 90mm paper because there's no way the 77mm will fit the Rotex 90.

The site I linked is a dealer (no affiliation), but I used my hard copy catalog for sleuthing purposes. Here's a pic of the pertinent catalog page w/ Granat paper for both sanders. Interesting how the 90mm paper is actually cheaper.
