I'm in the middle of a big SS job and while this won't be totally accurate, it'll be close--
I have a whole bunch of these large SS panels to do (I've shown them before, ski lift operator panels).
They're 24" x 28", and as you can see, they're nearly totally covered in Cermark.

This is my bottle of pre-mix. When I started the level was just about half way up the "Laserbits" sticker,
which is approx. 1.25" up. If you look at about 1/2" up, you can make out the current level...

I've Cermarked 3 of these panels so far, and what's left might cover a 4th, but it'll be close so I'm going to add to it.
So I started at 1.25" and ended at .5", for total use of .75" for 3 panels...
My mix is pretty much 3 to 1, so 25% 'raw' Cermark.
--25% of .75" is .188" of raw material used...
My last full bottle was approx. 4" deep, and cost $250.00, so around $62.50 per inch as bottled...
$62.50 x .188" = $11.75 I've spent, approximately, covering those 3 full panels, so basically I'm spending less than $4 per panel on Cermark to nearly totally cover a 672 square inch piece of stainless-
My coverage is probably closer to 625 sq in, so-- 625 sq in coverage for $4 is $0.0064 per square inch, less than a penny per...
In contrast, acrylic laminate @ $65 per sheet costs $0.056 per sq. in, and will cost you $35 for 625 square inches...
$4 to cover that much SS is a bargain :D
