Anyone know what would be a good way to temporarily attach photos to a picture board ? Photos would be on there no more that 24 hrs. A lot of old photos that I don't want to get damaged

If this is for display, consider scanning and printing. Then you can glue the repros to foam core.

I did this recently - I scanned and emailed the images to the local wal mart and picked them up a few hours later.

Mounting putty. It sticks up light stuff like photos. It is non-adhesive, and leaves no residues. It can even be reused. Everybody makes it -- 3M, Elmers, Duck...
You can buy it at Staples, CVS, Amazon.
Here's a link to 3M's product -- http://www.scotchbrand.com/3M/en_US/scotch-brand/products/catalog/~/Scotch-Mounting-Putty-Removable-2-oz-White?N=4335+3294529207+3294602205&rt=rud

+1 on the mounting putty. My wife uses it in her classroom.

We used Paste up wax to mount pictures that only stay up a short time
