Good buy on DeWalt SCMS

My local HD is running a clearance on several Dewalt tools in anticipation of new models coming out. They have ONE 12" SCMS for $384, regular $599. They also have a couple CMS for $194. Also, there is a cart of DeWalt 18V hammer drills for $169, regular $229.

The store is located at the SW corner of US75 and US380, in McKinney TX.

Maybe your local store is having a like sale. For those in the Plano, McKinney area, I would swing by and take a look.

I've been very happy with my DW708 at $600 (-10%).

At $384 - that's a "no-brainer" if you're in the market.

If you get RFD-TV (dish network ch.9409), they have several programs about "old iron." One show is called "Classic Tractor Fever." Now and then, they will have a show about one of the "Threshers Reunions."

I alerted a friend to the possible Dewalt clearance at Home Depot. On Friday, he picked up a DW705S of $189 (last one they had). He appreciated the heads up.
