Hi:
Got a few questions about making wood crutches.
1. Has anyone ever made a pair of wood crutches?
2. Are they hard to make?
3. The pair that I have always used, is made of laminated wood strips. Do they have to be laminated for strength?
4. The biggest problem that I have always had with the store bought ones, is that over time, say no more than a year, the dowel that holds the top of the crutch in place, breaks off. Is there a better way to attach the top of the crutch instead of using a wood dowel?
Thanks,
