help on angles

I'm trying to figure out the width on wide and narrow end of a 14 inch board to make a complete circle

I'm missing something but I'm not feeling too smart today. You want to make a circle from one 14" board? You want to put a bunch of tapered 14" boards together to make a circle? Something else?

We definitely need more information. Are you trying,as John suggests, to make a circle from a number of wedge-shaped pieces? Is there a hole in the center? If so, how big? How many pieces do you want to use?
