A few cherry bowls ...

I had a request for a set of salad bowls from a lady at work. She wanted four small bowls and one large one. I made these for her out of my cherry stash. The large one is 10" x 4" and the small ones are 6" x 3". I applied Salad bowl finish (two coats) and they're ready to go. I also made a natural edge bowl out of the other large blank I had cut out. It is 10" x 3.5" and has a Danish Oil finish applied. Thanks for looking, have fun turning and be safe.

Those bowls look good Ron! Don't you just LOVE the smell of Cherry being worked? :) One of these days my shop will be clean and I can try turning again. :D

The cherry always turns out with nice grain, even if the chunk of wood looks plisn before turning.
