I recently acquired a De Walt 250 Powershop 250 10" RAS w/o the lower blade guards. I am interested in equipping my saw to maximize safety, so any suggestions regarding improvements over the original equipment would be greatly appreciated.
In the absence of suggestions about improving the original safety equipment, I would like to know if anyone has one of these blade guards from which they could provide me a blade guard pattern on thin paper from which I could fabricate guards. I presume the original guards to have been made from aluminum. It would also be very helpful to have the stock thickness of the original guards. I would be happy to provide a stamped, self-addressed envelope to receive the pattern if it could not be transmitted electronically.
