Best blade for Kapex

I've had my Kapex for 6 years now with one resharpening and now probably need to either sharpen again or upgrade. What have you fellas found works the best? I have Forrest blades on my SawStop and they have been great.

Leitz makes the Festool blades so they are of pretty high quality. Popular Tools, FS Tool, Tenryu, Matsushita among others make Kapex blades. All of the ones I listed are very high quality. It might be important to know where the Festool blade is letting you down or if you simply want to try swimming in another pond.

Festool's Kapex blades are quite good and also a pretty good value if bought in the 2 pack (60T and 80T blades for $205). At that price of 100/per, I've never been tempted to try blades that cost 1.5x.

I know from experience that Oshlun, and Tenryu will not be a step up from, or even with, the factory blade. And I am not a fan of the factory blade either. They all seem to cut just ok. I am afraid to "experiment" with more money.

I picked up a Forrest blade for the Kapex and think it is a better blade than the Festool ones, but not by much. A slightly better cut, but all the blades seem to last about the same amount of time before needing to be sharpened.

I use the Tenryu SL-26072. It makes a very clean cut and is fairly inexpensive compared to the competitors.
