My son bought a house that is designed for a southern California climate.Unfortunatley he lives in Southern B.C.(think Seattle climate)
The house is built on concrete pillars and the clearance goes for 0 to 10 ft. It has normal fibreglass insulation. However, the floor is always cold. A utube video by Roxul shows a similar application using roxul insulation between the joists and then covered with Roxul comfortboard IS. Apparently the comforboard prevents cold transmission through the joists(which makes sense.) Anyone have any experience with this.
