Here are some pictures of my first woodworking project. We needed more storage space and we have no garage and no basement, so I decided to build these storage benches for our living room. They are 56" long, 19" tall and 16" deep. They will be for additional seating as well. I say they because this is the first of three I will be building for that living room wall. I also built a bookshelf at the same time, which I will also post some pictures of. Not the highest quality workmanship, but I think they turned out pretty good for my first attempt...
