Thanks Mike, Keith and David!! Its amazing how many applications lasers are useful for. Templating out of PET film, baltic birch plywood, and clear acrylic is not evident in the thread, besides the obvious laser work, but should be mentioned as well. Such a useful machine.

Sweet pearl work! Did you laser the mortice then hand cut the pearl? or laser both?

Yes, lasered the mortice and hand cut the pearl to fit. Also lasered the text into the pearl inlay, which was then colorfilled.
