15" Planner Questions

My Grizzly 15" Planner G0453P doesn't have the little springs under the knives, they just drop in so I can't use my knife setting jig. Is this how
it should be?354345

Also, I just had the knives sharpened, so do I need to re adjust the rollers to the new knife height? They were nicked by staples.

Not sure what type of jig you have. Page 36 of the manual shows jack screws for height adjustment. I would set the knives to the height they used to be. If you did not write this down before removing them, the manual has the baseline settings.

Thanks for that Glenn, I actually looked in the manual and see those jack screws now!
