It's been a while since I've posted here. I finally got around to trying out dovetails using my incra Router combo #3. What a really nice set up! I made a practice cabinet drawer with half blind dovetails using one of the 3/8" templates. A friend asked if I'd make some cabinet drawers using 5/8" thick boards. I've noticed the templates closest to that thickness have "approximate" stock thickness of either 1/2" or 3/4".
I won't be in my shop for a few days to experiment, so I thought I'd ask here:
Can I use the 5/8" stock with either these template sets (since the thickness is approximate) or should the boards be milled to 1/2"?
