Rabbeting Bit

Does anyone know if any one makes a rabbeting bit to make a 1" rabbet?

Found this with an internet search:

Don't know anything about them, but they claim to have "the world's first" 1" deep rabbetting bit.

If it is a straight rabbet, I'd either use a straight bit in the router table, or hand-held with a guide.

Whew Jerry that is one expensive bit. It is a straight rabbet. A straight bit was my second choice, two passes with a 3/4" straight bit and it is done.

Yeah. You could almost make the cut faster than you could pull out your wallet :)

Infinity Cutting Tools sells very high quality router bits. They have a bit called the Mega Planer and Dado bit that will cut a 1 inch rabbet. I have one and it is a beast. However there is no bearing, and is for use only in a router table.
