Since it is platter day I thought I would share too. This is a piece I finished yesterday. It is ash,measures 14" x 1 3/4" and was finished with BLO. It will be heading to Holland soon as a gift for some friends.

I like the bead and step on the face, and the shape of the bottom. Nice grain too. It's a great looking platter Loy.

Now that is a nice looking platter, Loy. Very well done. I love the beads, the step, the entire shape. Very nice!!!!!
