Hi

Is there a way to get a stuck bit out of the chuk? I put the drill chuide up and sprayed wd 40 in the re for 2 weeks and it sdidn't help a bit.

The bit is a short one so hetting to it is hard.

Any suggestions would be greatly aprecitated.

THanks nuch

Quinn

Is this a hex chuck on an impact driver?

Cold cold cold - although this might not help if you don't have enough bit sticking out on which to concentrate the cold.

If you cold the chuck too

Good luck.

I had luck with needle nose pliers. After the first stuck bit I learned to only use the long ones, or an extension for the short ones

I've had the same problem with mine. Try tapping around the front edge of the chuck with a hammer in a counter clockwise pattern. Just like trying to loosen a tight jar lid. Has worked for me.

Do you remember if you tightening or loosening something last time? I've had a bit get jammed from tightening, put it on a fastener to loosen it and it'll knock the driver tip free.

Not an uncommon issue. I just tap the end of the l bit that is stuck against a hard surface like the floor. This usually frees the bit.
