Crosshair laser pointer

I made an acrylic version of an old instructable I had run across.
Works pretty well if you like pointer on your laser.

Nicely done! I did something slightly similar, but I only added a single line-type LED (at 90 degrees) to the angled dot pointer. When it is in focus, the dot touches the line. (I do a lot of curved stuff so autofocus won't work in my case.)

My original red dot pointer was attached with crappy bracket that fit thru the air intake, wouldn't fit my shorter lens and kept loosening. When it died, I decided quickly to replace with a better system.
So far it works. And was cheap to do
