Allan, the photo has a soft focus, so it is pretty hard to notice any details as far as sanding, finish, etc. How thick did you leave the form? Just curious as this looks like it would make for a good functional vase -vs- an artistic one that looks like it is going to tip over!

Steve, possibly 3/8-1/2". Thicker than intended.
