Custom tuned Baldor w CBN

Do any of you have the Baldor custom tuned slow grinder w CBN wheel, and have, for comparison--used the CBN on a regular grinder?

(My birthday is coming up.)

Two of my grinders already go down to 2k, not quite the 1800 rpm. The Sears grinder has a slight wobble.

I'm thinking about converting all my planes, chisels over to hollow grind for easier registration.

Does hollow grinding make that freehand sharpening more fun (foolproof)?

Has anyone used both systems--regular grinder @ 2k and Baldor tuned w CBN?
