Neat looking machines. There was one at the AAW symposium trade show a few years ago when it was in Minneapolis, but I think that guy quit handling them due to low sales. Looks like they took a page from the Robust American Beauty design book for the lathe bed.

I noticed that too. MT2 in headstock. MT3 in tailstock. With metal lathes it's always the opposite with the larger taper in the headstock.
Maybe a typo?

I think Serious Lathes are setup the same way

It's not a typo. I have one, they are very nice lathes. Maybe it's so the tailstock ram can be bigger. It travels 8 inches.
