It has been a long time since I did some real woodwork.

I recently completed this table from the book Queen Anne Furniture by Norman Vandal

It has an oak top, and painted pine base. I just did not have money for better wood.

I redid the plans into CAD. The templates were cut on the CNC machine, then I did the base the normal way. The top were cut on the CNC machine.

Like always, a lot of small little flaws that only woodworkers would notice, and a big one that everyone would notice. I have no idea how long it took me. I laminated the wood for the legs in 2011.

Is that phonetic Afrikaans or the real spelling . . . or just bad voice to text :D?

Beautiful piece and there are painted old examples. But I think painting the top,too would improve it.

Nice work! Mistakes are for you to obsess over and for others to never notice. I like it!
