I'm ready to buy a new router for my table--looking at the Milwaukee 5625 3 1/2 horse, the Bosch 1619 or the Triton. I have a friend who has the Triton and I really like the capability of changing the bits above the table. However he had to send it in for bearing replacement which Triton replaced free of charge even tho it was out of warrenty. I really don't want to spend the extra money for a lift--maybe I should? Any help or advice will be welcome.

I recently got the Milwaukee based on numerous positive reviews as a table router. It's currently on sale at Amazon for $258. I have'nt used it yet, so can't give a hands on account. Check out some of the other current router/lift threads for info on lifts. The Mast-R-Lift is the only model that will allow bit changes above the table top. Many of the other lifts won't accept the Milwaukee.
