To me, it's especially sad that she had to see her daughter pass first. Article I read said she was in the midst of planning Carrie's funeral when she herself fell ill.

Stress will do it. Planning any funeral is very stressful and when one gets up in age it is something that needs to be watched. Sad news for sure.
