George,
I will try to remember to check mine next time I am out in the shop. It is most assured it will not be something you can pick up at your local hardware store or fastener supply. Stanley tended to use thread standards that are not common today.
You may have to look for someone who sells used parts:
nhplaneparts is a seller on ebay.
Patrick Leach @ http://www.supertool.com
Bob Kuane @ http://www.antique-used-tools.com
and Pete Niederberger(sp?) for whom I do not seem to have any contact information at this time.

The size is 10-28, a size Stanley was fond of using for some of their other tools as well.
Both taps and dies are available from Victor Machinery-http://www.victornet.com/

If you have trouble tracking one down, you can cheat, and retap the hole to 10-32, a common modern size. No. 51 shaves are not collector's items.

Thanks for everyone's help. Trying to find one has been difficult?
Bill, I like your idea of re-tapping. Brilliant! Problem solved. Thank you.
