Given up on Chinese fiber lasers. Ordered a Trotec Speedmarker 700 MOPA

After 5 months of tinkering with a Wiesly MOPA 30 watt laser . I have given up on consistent results. The speedmarker 700 MOPA however is awsome.

Problem really isn't with the laser its with the software. The EZCAD 2 works reasonably well with a standard fiber source but when using a MOPA laser really is all over the map when doing color. I do production work and fire arms. If im marking a 2 to 3 k gun I need to be certain of the outcome. The speed is also a factor. The trotec laser runs 3 times faster than the Chinese fiber lasers.

Yes Trotec. It was only 4 times as much as I paid for the Wiesly at 65K. But you really cant compare the 2. The trotec is a class 2 with a 10 by 10 in marking area. Automated Z adjustment and automated focus.
