Felder Fat 300 level lifting table

I am on the Felder e-mail list since buying some of their machines. They have a lifting table called the Felder Fat 300 level lifting table that seems very nice and can be fitted with a top of your choice, but it's $1500. It's a looker, but a couple years ago I needed one and bought the cheap Chinese import from Harbor Freight for about $150. I know higher quality comes at a price, but am not certain it's worth 10x the cost especially since you need to furnish the top. It might be for some of you with deeper pockets though.

The Harbor Freight model has held up like a champ. It does come with a "top" you cannot remove made of medal. If I wanted a wood top in attition to that, I could bolt one on there. It also has a 1,000 pound limit vs. the 600 pound limit for the Felder. The Harbor Freight model is a bit more expensive now, buy you could hold out for one of the 25% off coupons and still snag it for about $200.
