I have been using the abrasive strips from Jet in my Jet 10-32 drum sander. Since I have found all paper or fabric backed abrasives to generally be of wide ranging quality wrt the abrasive, the adhesive, and the backing material, I was curious if there were better choices than the ones from Jet.

The Jet strips seem fine, I just wonder if there is reason to try something else.

Check out the good folks at Klingspor. Top notch quality and service.

I've found Klingspor to work best for me, too. Their rolls don't glaze or blind as easily and the abrasive seems to cut better, longer.

I've been happy with the paper I get from WoodMaster. I don't know who makes it for them.

I use the cloth-backed Klingspor abrasives on my 22-44, mostly 60-80-100, usually not much finer. I don't know if another type would be better for finer grits.

Another vote for Klingspor, although I haven't used their drum sander strips. I see that they do sell pre-cut strips for several of the Jet sanders.

Thanks guys. It sounds like it might be worth trying some from Klingspor and maybe some from Industrial.
