Quick question for you Bies splitter folks. I just installed mine today on my Grizz 1023SL. Installation and alignment went ok but I notice that when the splitter is snapped into position, there is a bit of side-to-side play in it. It's maybe 1/32 of an inch--still within the 1/8 inch kerf--and it's probably fine, but I was wondering if this is typical. I didn't mess with those 4 Allen screws since they seemed tight, but I guess I could crank on them some.

Mine has a small bit of play too. Never noticed it as a problem, and is probably good it making it practical to slip it on and off.

Same here - mine has a very small bit of play back and forth and I agree with Steve that it probably aids in removal.

Tiny bit of play, but inconsequential. It has to give just slightly or you'd never be able to remove it from the saw! (Actually, mine is quite tight in that respect and does not slip out of the slot easily when I need to remove it)

Ditto on mine, as well. Never found it to be an issue, though.:)

Thanks all, I figured it was nothing to worry about.
