I just built some cabinets for my bathroom and decided to wait until they were completed to order hinges (whoops). I ordered Blum 71b955, for thick doors mine are 15/16. The problem is my framless cabinets are also 15/16 and the doors are made for full overlay. Is there a Blum hinge that will accommodate a 15/16 overlay? Thanks, Joe.

I don't think a cup hinge is going to do what you're asking. Consider a knuckle hinge instead. Use magnets to latch.

Maybe a Aximax hinge would work , or a Blum compact, but IF you figured for 1/8" gaps between doors , like a normal Euro cabinet hinge is designed for you are screwed.

I'm not quite following the " frame less cabinets are also 15/16" " line? You made the cabinet case / partitions 15/16" thick??? So you used 15/16" thick plywood or solid lumber to make the cases????

There's no face frame to speak of?

You could use something like a Blum Compact 33 (Blum 33 (http://www.wwhardware.com/blum-compact-33-110-self-closing-hinge-b033-36))-- click on the "Download Information" links to see the overlay options and the mounting plate required.

Note that this hinge sets the door 3/16" off the face of the cabinet.

Always better to decide on the hardware at the design stage, but I guess you know that now :)

Joe, router out a section for each hinge so that the hinge plates are set into the side panels, effectively creating an area 5/8 thick. Do it neatly and no-one will ever pick it. Cheers

73b359 I think I used for thicker side panels

I like this idea Wayne, I wish I had done it before I installed the cabinets but it would enable me to use the hinges I already purchased. Thanks to all and merry Christmas.
