Rotary making some noise(really has since the beginning) and haven't begun to lube it - thought I'd ask someone with more experience on the how and where. Thanks in advance.

Have you called Trotec support? That would be my first source for maintenance info.

There is a difference between building a machine, supporting it versus using it every day for a living. From a practical standpoint, there are a few people here who know quite a bit about these machines which is why I asked.

Hi Bob, which one do you have, the hot dog roller version or the one with the cones? Does it make noise when there's nothing in it and turning or just when it's got a part in it?

What type rotary and what type of noise? mine took a bit of a shunt in shipping and the pulley was rubbing against the shroud, a few looses screws also owed it to hit. Easily fixed as you'd imagine.

It's the cone one Steve - did call tech service and they said noise was normal and didn't need lubrication. It has made that noise since the beginning but I swear my first instinct is to grease something like that. Works fine, just groans a good bit.

It does make a hum but I can't hear it because my exhasut fan is so loud and sucks the the belts in.
