I was looking at the Miller Dowell System and was wanting to know if anyone here has any experience with them and if that was a good or bad experience. They make them sound really easy to use and strong and I like the resulting look but don't want to pop for a "kit" before hearing from folks on here, THANKS!:)

Hey Jack.I started using the Miller Dowel system a few months ago and I really like it.I have built a few cabinets and used no metal fasteners whatsoever in them.Working with white oak I use the walnut dowels. It is a nice contrast seeing the ends of the dowels once they are sanded down. The cheapest place I have found to get them is CSH aka Custom Service Hardware in Cedarburg,WI. 1-800-882.0009. or www.cshardware.com:rolleyes:

Very nice work bench Jay! Joe I looked at those comments and I've decided to give them a try, seems like a great addition to my joinery methods. This sort of thing is what makes this site great!
