DeWalt 1.25 router Dust Colletion

Just picked up the DWP 611 small router with the DNP 615 fixed base dust collector attachment. I have a Festool vac and cannot find the right fitting to connect the dust port on the router to my Festool hose. Anyone? Thanks in advance, Vince

I cut the outer part and my Festool hose fits and stays on.

Thanks, Harry. Oddly, I was looking at the thing about a 1/2 hour ago, and came to exactly the same idea. It's reassuring knowing you did that and it works. I think I'll do some surgery tomorrow. BTW, what did you use to cut the outer part?

Vince, I used a Dremel with a cutoff disc. When done, the small amount of melted plastic pushed off and made a really clean edge. I also taped a clear container cut in half that catches almost everything with the vac.
