Does anyone have one of these? Or any of the clamp system? If so what are your thoughts or review.

Thanks

I bought one and was looking forward to using it. Only problem is the hole that you clamp the jig to the saw fence is a dovetail groove. They have designed it so you need their clamp instead of a normal fence clamp. The jig is nice and works, but I gave it a marginal review because of the clamp hole design. I was able to make a clamp that works, although not perfectly, as their clamp would.

$40 for their clamp(s) is a bit rich.
The jig looks interesting.

I looked at it and watch the video but the price makes the Bridge City Tool Works Kerfmaker look like a bargain considering how well the KM-1 is built. I have used mine for years and certainly wouldn't trade it for what I have seen of the Matchfit.

For those that dont know about them, give it a look: LINK (http://www.bridgecitytools.com/default/featured/km-1-kerfmaker.html)

interesting idea. Looking at the info on the web, I think the video indicated that the BC KM-1 is limited to 1/2" width of dado? Can't verify because I can't seem to get back to the video.. the microjig appears to allow much wider dado than that altough I couldn't find it stated anywhere on the microjig site.

got back to the video - I read that wrong - the BC KM-1 works with cutter width up to 1/2".

The width of the dado stack is limited to 1/2" and the width of the actual dado you can set the KM-1 for is 1 1/2".

One nice thing about the KM-1 is you can easily adapt it to a large number of functions. The Half Inch Shy video is better than the BCTW video in explaining what it does and how to use it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFpNxtiSaYY

Ahh I see you found that while I was actually measuring mine. :)
