I'm down south of Colorado Springs, CO. Been looking for Larch lumber (Douglas Fir - Larch) and had NO luck to find Larch supply around in Colorado.. Can anyone help and point me where I could find some.. It can be in ANY size, rough cut as I have all equipment to get what I need.

Thanks for your time...

Gary,

Did you try Woodfinder? http://woodfinder.com I see a supplier in Denver that lists Douglas Fir

Larch and Douglas Fir are not the same species of tree. Larch is a deciduous conifer.

I have it and use it in my chairs. Great wood.

I use DFL MSR for my chairs. I'll cherry pick it for moulding. Grows northeastern Washington

Have you tried Littleton Lumber?

I think that Larch and Douglas Fir are mentioned together because of lumber grading. As structural lumber they have roughly the same strength.
