Hi Folks,

I bought a Powermatic's latest TJ tenoning jig off Ebay a couple months ago and used it this week end to cut some tenons for some shutters I am building for my house. I love this jig, It works fantastic and is very simple to set up. Marc Spagnuolo has a great review of it on his WoodWhisperer YouTube channel. My basic complaint is the clamp is just garbage. It is very had to adjust and clamp and doesn't really hold very well. I'm thinking a toggle clamp of some type would be a better setup to allow you to quickly unclamp and re-clamp. I was wondering if anyone who has one of these TJ models has an upgrade to the stock clamp.

Any solutions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Eric
