Well,
I found what I think is a great deal on line at an e-bay store for this bench so I ordered one today.
It comes with:
Work bench
Drawers and center cabinet
Accessory kit.

I really was contemplating making my own bench and saw some fantastic work benches on you tube.
But I really could not dedicate the time needed ( working 6 days a week now) and my biggest fear was flattening the top.
I have been doing without since I started wood working back in high school.
I did most of my work on my table saw out feed table and this was not that convenient at all. Holding work down with F-style Clamps or what ever I had at the time.
I have never had a dedicated woodworking bench with bench dogs and the vise thing and I am now 53 years.
So getting closer to retirement I decided to get one that will last the through the golden years, and yet still hold some value when my wife has to sell it.

Seems to be a popular choice these days.

There seems to be a lot of talk about the 1" dog holes and very limited accessories but I just like the overall look of the bench.

Yes, the 1" dog holes are a real disadvantage. I have no clue why they did that.

Otherwise, I really like the workbench.

Sjobergs owners, has anyone installed the cork padding to the vises jaws?

Guess what come today??
Early Christmas present... Can't open until Christmas. Delivery was flawless and carted right up to my garage.

My new 76" sjobergs elite.
The top is soooo heavy we could barely lift it.
It's in the shop (still in the box) acclimating to its new home environment.

I just put some of those on a new Sjoberg's vise today. They seem pretty sticky. I'll post back if they fall off anytime soon.

I did see one reviewer on Amazon that said the adhesive wasn't real good, that he had to use some of his own.

Looks really great. You might be a good case for the crucible 1" holdfast.
