I have a simple in-line filter bought from surplus machinery. Cost about $7.00.

Here is a link to a picture of Bill Esposito's filter. I believe it is filled with polyester filter floss. The kind used for aquarium filtration. Maybe Bill will jump in and tell you more about it.
