View Full Version : Thinking about a Lennox Bandsaw Blade

I have some questions about what blade might be best for me, 99% of my cutting is ripping hard, dry dimensional lumber to size it for Segmented Turning stock and some occasional re-sawing.

I use my table saw for the actual segments.

I have an 18" Jet

Suggestions where I should take my business?

Thanks
Tim

Oregon Industrial. Lennox Diemaster 2 bimetal blade. Call them with your information to get the best tooth pattern.

+1 for "Lennox Diemaster 2 bimetal blade". Got one on my 14" Rikon. Used it to resaw 8x10 timbers for this dinning-room table (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?234466-Re-purposed-Wood-Dinning-Table). Only cut through a 1/4" steel spike "twice" doing it. Still using same blade w/o resharpening. I can't tell much difference in it then when it was new.

Tim, I use Lennox blades on my 18" Rikon, 1/2" 3-tpi or on occasion 4-tpi. A local industrial supplier Holston Gas has a bandsaw blade shop and makes them to size, often while I wait or the next day if busy. I mostly cut turning blanks from green log sections and from hard, dry wood. Some resawing.

Perhaps there is a similar service in your area.
