Delta/rockwell bandsaw tension question

New to woodworking but now new to fixing up old machines. I restored this 1970 14" bandsaw over the last few weeks. My question is the tension gauge on back. do I read the tension from the bottom of the spring/top of the nut or from the bottom of the nut? The only reference I could find was for a jet and it was measured from the top of the nut. I know the gauge isn't that accurate but it's a place to start for a newb.

Top of the nut aligns with the marked line. The tension gauge isn't as bad as people want to think.
Nice band saw. You did a very nice job with a classic.
