I am in need of a 3/8-16 brad hole or screw on tee nut with the flange being 1-3/8 diameter. I can find 1" diameter all over the place. The metric equivalent would be 35 mm flange diameter and 10 mm by 1.5 pitch. Does anyone have a source for these. I have googled them and looked and looked and am beginning to think it doesn't exist. I have a chair that the leg was attached using a tee nut and the center broke out of it. Thanks in advance.

I suspect it's going to fail again.
Tee-nuts do not fail if they're on the opposing face of the screw.

I'm curious, was the tee-nut attached to the leg or seat bottom.

I assume it to be the seat bottom. Was the leg splayed, I assume it was?

It would be fairly easy to make a 1/8" plate with a threaded hole to fasten to the seat bottom.

It was attached to the seat bottom and the stud is in the leg itself. I think the leg loosened and put all the stress on the tee nut instead of on the shoulder of the leg and the seat base.
