He labels his saw a Format saw, as if that is a whole class of saws. I had the impression that Format was a Felder product name, rather than a general name. Can anybody un-confuse me?

"Format 4" is the Felder line of equipment, "format tablesaw" or "Formatkreissaege" is the generic German term for sliding tablesaw.

WOW! Now that's impressive. It appears to be quite well made and very accurate. I wonder what happens when the humidity level changes?

It looked like something a German would build. Sure enough, it was, although to give credit where it is due it looks like the guy who was the primary designer is from Hungary. Very impressive.
