Maple log sections in Norristown, pa

I just cut some slabs sections from neighbors maple tree. Shown are sample pictures. The bowl was turned from one of the crouch pieces. Bowl about 11" diameter from bottom slab in first picture.

Looks like Norway maple. Turns nice, great coloration, spalts nicely too. Quickly becoming one of my favorites.
