OT Gas milage

We are looking to get a 94 dodge van v6 3 leader motor.What king of gas milage do you think it will get? He wants 1000 for it and he put 625 work into the van in july this year.Good tires. Mike

The 3.0L V6 is a nice motor- although it won't snap your head back when accelerating; depending on the mileage it should give you good service. My wife has this same engine in her van and we are getting about 18 mpg in town and 21-22 on the road.

We did have to replace the head gasket at about 55K miles but the mechanic said that was a fluke as his vehicle has the same powerplant and at the time it had over 150K without major problems.
