After seeing Bob Rosand this weekend I decided to try a goblet. It was a fun project. It measures 2-3/4" dia. x 8-3/4" tall. Walls are about .08". I finished it with friction polish. Oh, I forgot to mention the wood. Don't laugh to hard...it's poplar. Thanks for looking.

Very nice! I've been playing with them too...they are lots of fun aren't they!:) I'm thinking about trying aniline dyes on some. WOnder how poplar takes dye?

oooh! Very nice Keith. T'aint nothin' wrong with poplar. Now that you have the technique down....it's time for some exotics eh? Beautiful work.
